The Quinault Rainforest is a temperate rainforest in the Olympic National Forest. There are very few temperate rainforests left in the U.S. so this a great Olympic National Park site that you should definitely check out.
Hurricane Ridge is a large mountainous area in the Olympic National Park. The views from the top are some of the prettiest views you will find in all of Washington. It is absolutely one of my favorite places and is well worth the drive.
