Frog’s Leap winery is one of the most reasonable and wonderful tastings you will find in Napa Valley. They also provide a tasting for non-wine drinkers, so everyone is welcome. Grab a glass of wine and enjoy the beautiful garden views.
There are 2 different tasting options, if you choose to pay a little more you will be seated at a table with a garden view. We very much enjoyed sitting out on the patio and drinking our wine looking at the gardens. We also loved that we were kept to our group and not put with other groups.
Non Wine Drinkers Delight
If you choose not do a wine tasting, they offer a soda tasting for those who want to enjoy the experience while your friends sip. We didn’t find any other wineries that offered this and we loved this experience. It was super fun to try to guess what the mystery flavors of soda were (don’t worry they give you the answers).
Make sure to grab your wine glass and walk through their gardens. They also have some adirondak chairs, so if you can grab them with a glass of wine, you will be set. We spent a while just relaxing and enjoying the scenery while drinking some great wine.
Why You Should Visit
I will preface this with, we did not have the most incredible tasting guide. She didn’t really seem to care about answering our questions or giving us more information about the winery. While your tasting guide can sometimes be a make or break experience, I still would recommend Frog’s Leap for many reasons.
Frog’s Leap tasting price point is some of the most reasonable for how good their wine is. They also have incredible gardens to enjoy your wine in and a very relaxed vibe. The nice thing about this tasting is it is a little go at your own pace, instead of guided.
